20th Anniversary
Relive the highlights of our school's 20th Anniversary, where students, staff, alumni, and partners came together to honour two decades of growth and community.
Introduction
This year marked a significant milestone in our school’s journey — our 20th Anniversary. With the theme “Past, Present, Future: Inspiring Futures, Nurturing Leaders”, the celebrations honoured two decades of learning, growth, and community. It was a meaningful occasion to reflect on our rich history, celebrate present achievements, and look ahead to a future filled with promise and purpose.
The anniversary brought together students, staff, alumni, and partners in a vibrant series of events that captured the heart of our school — a place where values are shaped, leaders are nurtured, and futures are inspired.
Unique Value Proposition
What made this 20th Anniversary truly special was how it bridged generations and aspirations. Rooted in the theme “Past, Present, Future: Inspiring Futures, Nurturing Leaders,” the celebration didn’t just look back — it celebrated the present voices of our students and laid the foundation for tomorrow’s leaders. Through student-led initiatives, cross-generational storytelling, and community engagement, the event became more than a celebration — it became a shared vision.
Main Activities or Features
The year was filled with vibrant and meaningful activities that brought the 20th Anniversary to life:
During Chinese New Year, students creatively formed the number “20” using handcrafted snake models, a symbolic tribute that reflected both festive cheer and school spirit.
A 20th Anniversary School Song ‘I Can I Will’, thoughtfully composed with the aid of AI and brought to life by our students and staff, served as a heartfelt tribute that encapsulated the school’s values and aspirations.
The Phoenix, a powerful symbol of renewal and strength, was launched during the 20th Anniversary cum Awards Day, marking the official celebration of the milestone.
Sports Day saw the school community singing and dancing along to the Anniversary Song — a lively expression of unity, joy, and shared identity.
The National Day Celebration featured the re-launch of the Phoenix, reaffirming its role as the signature emblem of our 20th anniversary. The event also included interactive booths at the Heritage Hut, where students explored the school’s rich history through fun and educational activities — such as discovering who sang the first school song — deepening their appreciation of our heritage in an engaging, student-centric way.
Impact and Outcomes
The 20th Anniversary celebrations united a large gathering of former and current staff, students, Parent Support Group members, and alumni spanning back to our founding year. Many participants, both past and present, actively contributed to the events, exemplifying the values of responsibility, teamwork, and leadership. Feedback from the community highlighted a profound sense of pride, connection, and renewed purpose inspired by the celebrations.
Future Plans
As we look to the future, we remain committed to nurturing confident learners and compassionate leaders. The spirit of our 20th Anniversary will continue to guide our journey forward — inspiring us to build on our strengths, deepen our sense of community, and stay true to the values that have shaped us over the years.
