Basketball

In my three years of playing basketball, I have learned to be resilient and work well in a team. Although I had no prior experience in Secondary 1, my seniors motivated me and pushed me to work hard. From then until now, I have seen a huge improvement in not only my basketball skills, but also my ability to communicate and collaborate with my teammates. I am grateful to my teachers and coach for the opportunity to lead, which has allowed me to develop my leadership skills and care for my peers. As I continue to lead and serve the team, I hope to inspire future captains and instill the right values in my teammates.

Since joining the Basketball CCA in Secondary 1, I have learned to become a better player both on and off the court. On the court, I developed my dribbling, shooting, and game sense through regular training and matches. Off the court, the CCA has taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Pushing through tough drills and bouncing back from losses showed me how to stay focused and support my teammates. Ultimately, the CCA has given me close friends, as well as lessons in responsibility and consistency that I now apply to my schoolwork and daily life.

Over the past one and a half years in the basketball CCA, my passion for the sport has grown greatly. Through the CCA, I have met many people who share the same love for basketball and have formed strong friendships with my teammates. I enjoy every training session, from the drills to learning new tactics from my coach. My coaches and teachers-in-charge have also helped me grow as both a player and the captain of the C Division basketball team by guiding me in developing leadership, teamwork, discipline, and responsibility.
