Pei Hwa's NCC (Land) builds character, leadership, and camaraderie through fun outdoor training and military activities. The unit has achieved Distinction in the Unit Recognition Award every year since 2016.

In Pei Hwa NCC, our motto is "Learning Above All." With a team of dedicated teachers, mentors, and seniors, we foster a mindset among cadets where they find courage in taking on challenges, valuing the experience of trying rather than fearing the possibility of failure. We aim to develop cadets with outstanding moral and character values through the "Cadet Strong" framework and the 3-tiered curriculum. Our training often incorporates outdoor components that are fun and engaging. During our comprehensive training programme, cadets have the valuable opportunity to forge strong bonds and foster a deep sense of camaraderie with each other.
NCC activities help develop cadets into leaders who possess strong character and are committed to performing at their best. They participate in various military-related tasks, such as simulated firing, live range shooting, and obstacle courses, which help them understand the significance of our nation's military defence. The strong bonds;; they form with their peers and juniors during their NCC journey will undoubtedly enhance their lives in Pei Hwa NCC.

Many say that CCA (Co-Curricular Activity) is one of the most enjoyable and memorable activities in school, and I agree. Throughout my three years in NCC (National Cadet Corps), I have learned many new skills and have also made countless friends. Through the tough training sessions, I have learned the importance of discipline and respect, and I have also been given the chance to develop my leadership skills. In NCC, there is no "one-man team"; it's all for one and one for all. The camaraderie formed from persevering through numerous challenges with my fellow platoon mates is second to none. Being in NCC for the past few years has helped me develop into a better person. In NCC, teamwork and communication are crucial, which pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and learn how to socialize better with others. I have become more responsible in terms of owning up to my mistakes and accepting the punishments and consequences. Not only that, but an adventurous spirit has also been fostered within me as a result of the rare and exciting activities I have been able to take part in. Even though CCA is only a small part of school life, NCC has had a significant impact on me. The time I have spent in NCC has helped me grow into a confident and resilient individual. Being part of a large platoon, I have had the chance to meet and interact with individuals of different personalities, as I will be spending the rest of my CCA years with them.
