National Cadet Corps (Land)
Nurturing. Committed. Cool.

In Pei Hwa NCC, our motto is "Learning Above All." With a team of dedicated teachers, mentors, and seniors, we foster a mindset among cadets where they find courage in taking on challenges, valuing the experience of trying rather than fearing the possibility of failure. We aim to develop cadets with outstanding moral and character values through the "Cadet Strong" framework and the 3-tiered curriculum. Our training often incorporates outdoor components that are fun and engaging. During our comprehensive training programme, cadets have the valuable opportunity to forge strong bonds and foster a deep sense of camaraderie with each other.
NCC activities help develop cadets into leaders who possess strong character and are committed to performing at their best. They participate in various military-related tasks, such as simulated firing, live range shooting, and obstacle courses, which help them understand the significance of our nation's military defence. The strong bonds;; they form with their peers and juniors during their NCC journey will undoubtedly enhance their lives in Pei Hwa NCC.

Student Testament
"My experience in NCC (National Cadet Corps Land) has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my school life. Over the years, NCC has taught me many useful skills and has also created unforgettable memories with my fellow cadets. At times, the training can be physically and mentally demanding, but these experiences have taught me important values such as perseverance, discipline, and responsibility.
To me, NCC is more than just drills and activities — it is about teamwork and friendship. Through our annual cohesion camps, training sessions, and shared experiences with my fellow cadets, I have learned how to work closely with others and support my teammates through difficulties. These experiences have also helped me grow in confidence and develop my leadership skills.
I am grateful for all the opportunities and lessons that this CCA has given me. It has truly shaped me into the person I am today. To Serve with Pride and Dedication. NCC!" Unit Sergeant Major, Keenan Tan Zhihui (3I1)
"When I first joined NCC in Secondary 1, I never expected to enjoy it so much. However, over time, it became a very important part of my secondary school life. Throughout the past few years, there were many challenging moments, but I learned to embrace them. These experiences taught me valuable lessons and helped me grow mentally stronger. NCC helped me become more disciplined and responsible, but my biggest takeaway was the friendships and memories made throughout this journey. I am truly grateful to everyone who supported me along the way and helped me become a better person. I will never forget my time in NCC and will always cherish those memories." Asst Sergeant Major (Admin), Goh Zhan Shuo (3I2)
"Being in NCC for the past few years has shaped me into a more mature and capable person. Through my years in NCC, I have developed many skills and made countless irreplaceable and supportive friends. The training sessions have taught me to step outside my comfort zone, helping me become more disciplined and learn to manage my actions and emotions. I have also become more responsible, learning to own up to my mistakes and grow from them.
NCC has given me the opportunity to develop my leadership skills and taught me the importance of respect. It has also helped me grow closer with my platoon mates by pushing through countless challenges together. In NCC, it's one for all and all for one.
The time I have spent in NCC is truly invaluable. It has tested my limits, honed my skills, and moulded me into a better person. I am forever grateful to have been a part of this fulfilling and enjoyable journey with NCC." Asst Sergeant Major (Regimentation), Peh Yiyang (3I3)
