Our Teachers, Our Innovators
At Pei Hwa Secondary School, innovation begins with our educators.
What started as a simple excel tool by Mr Kenneth Yeo (Subject Head, Personal & Aestheic Development) to help track student progress grew into a school-wide dashboard used by all 88 teachers – saving each of them up to 60 hours of admin work per year.
With the support of Ms Shalini Tashnamurthu (HOD, Infocomm Tech), this homegrown system now consolidates MOE data, school records and post-secondary admission pathways – giving our teachers sharper insights to guide every student.
This passion project was recognized with the Minister’s Innovation Award.
We are proud of our educators who aren’t just teaching – they are transforming the way we work and support students.
