Infocomm Club

My journey in Infocomm has been filled with joy, laughter, and countless opportunities to grow. As the President of the Infocomm Club, I have learnt to develop not only my technical skills but also my confidence, leadership, and teamwork abilities. From organising school events and managing technical setups to collaborating with different members on various assignments, every experience has taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and responsibility. Additionally, I have had the privilege of working alongside passionate and dedicated leaders who constantly encouraged and supported me. Together, we overcame challenges, learnt from one another, and created meaningful memories that I will always cherish. Through workshops, competitions, and AVA (Audio-Visual Aids) training, I discovered many hidden strengths, and I am truly grateful to the Infocomm Club for guiding me. All in all, the Infocomm Club has become my second home, where I was able to truly unleash my full potential as a leader, and I am forever thankful for the opportunities that were given to me.

Infocomm Club is more than just Photoshop and video editing. Besides learning media and design skills, I have also learnt how to handle sound systems and assist teachers and students during major school activities. Infocomm Club provides many hands-on opportunities that are rarely experienced elsewhere, giving me the chance to hone my leadership skills and confidence, as well as valuable insights into operating professional equipment such as the PA system, digital mixers, and live-streaming equipment. I have also built strong bonds with my fellow CCA members, supporting one another and growing together. Even after stepping down as the President of AVA in the Infocomm Club, they remain people whom I confide in and keep in touch with.

The Infocomm Club has been an important part of my secondary school journey. This CCA has given me many opportunities to learn valuable skills such as video and photo editing, which are especially important in today's digital world. In AVA, one of the things that stands out to me the most is the opportunity to use professional equipment and play an integral role in supporting morning assemblies and school events. I also appreciate having had the opportunity to plan CCA activities and interact with my peers as the Vice-President of the Infocomm Club.
